Angela Howard
Angela Howard is the founder of PTSD-ACED Foundation, Inc., and is highly impacted by the adverse effects of PTSD secondary to ACEs. She herself has overcome extremely adverse childhood experiences with an ACE score of 10. Angela’s health has been adversely affected as she suffers from Lupus, Sjogren’s Syndrome, and Autonomic Dysautonomia, and has recently suffered a stroke at the age of 41. Angela’s desire is to bring increased awareness of ACEs by educating those in the medical and educational fields.
Angela Howard is a registered nurse and has worked in the medical field for the past 20 years. She holds a Bachelor of Science, a Nursing degree, and certifications in Life Care Planning and Medical Case Management. She is a first-time author, with expected publication in November 2019, of a memoir that highlights PTSD secondary to ACEs. She has been inducted into
Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional Member and VIP Woman of the Year Circle in the National Association of Professional Women.
Patti Marsh
Ms. Patti Marsh is a volunteer director and will hold the Secretary/Director position of the Foundation. Patti was a flight attendant for 22 years. She was a principal in many national commercials and is a member of SAG-AFTRA. Patti served as President of the Board of Directors at the YWCA Greater Memphis. She later served as their Director of Development where she raised money for their Domestic Violence Shelter. Patti served on the Shelby County Democratic Party Executive Committee for two years and has been working for U.S. Congressman Steve Cohen for eight years. Her duties are spelled out in our bylaws, and include attending meetings of the Board of Directors, voting on Board decisions, and participating in Fundraisers. She will be charged with serving in various capacities to promote awareness of the Organization, take assignments as needed, and volunteer as necessitated.
Gina Baptiste
Ms. Gina Baptiste is a volunteer director. She is an Accountant with a Bachelor’s Degree of Business. She will hold the position of Treasurer with duties outlined in the bylaws and include attending meetings of the Board of Directors, voting on Board decisions, and participating in Fundraisers. She is responsible for oversight and safeguarding of the Organization’s assets and liabilities. She has more than three decades of accounting experience and has served as Senior Controller, Treasury Facilitator, Senior Director, and Chief Financial Officer for a large nonprofit healthcare organization. She has a robust portfolio of successful planning, directing, and organizing. Her role with the Organization will ensure integrity and regulatory requirement adherence.
Tina Motroni
Ms. Tina Motroni is a volunteer board member. She attended college at Memphis State University while working full time at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. She was soon promoted to Manager of the Special Hematology Laboratory in the Department of Pathology. Her career at St. Jude covered a period of 48 years. Her duties are spelled out in our bylaws, and include attending meetings of the Board of Directors, voting on Board decisions, and participating in Fundraisers. She will be charged with serving in various capacities to promote awareness of the Organization, take assignments as needed, and volunteer as necessitated.
